All Devotees Want Dalai Lama to Decide His Successor: Kiren Rijiju Amid China's Objection

चीन की चेतावनी के बीच किरेन रिजिजू बोले – दलाई लामा के उत्तराधिकारी का निर्णय उन्हीं को करना चाहिए

In the wake of strong warnings from China regarding the succession of the 14th Dalai Lama, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has stated that only the Dalai Lama has the moral and spiritual authority to decide his successor. He emphasized that millions of Buddhist devotees around the world believe in the Dalai Lama’s vision and that external political pressure should not interfere in spiritual matters.

China claims it has the authority to appoint the next Dalai Lama, but India has consistently maintained that spiritual leadership should remain free from political control. Rijiju’s statement comes at a crucial time when the Dalai Lama is in Ladakh, engaging with devotees and delivering sermons.

Rijiju further added, "We respect His Holiness and stand by the faith of the people. The decision on his successor should be left entirely to him."

चीन द्वारा दलाई लामा के उत्तराधिकारी को लेकर दी गई चेतावनी के बीच, केंद्रीय मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने स्पष्ट कहा कि दलाई लामा ही अपने उत्तराधिकारी का निर्णय करने के एकमात्र अधिकारी हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि दुनियाभर के करोड़ों बौद्ध अनुयायी दलाई लामा की आध्यात्मिक सोच और निर्णय पर भरोसा करते हैं, और किसी भी राजनीतिक दबाव को इस प्रक्रिया में हस्तक्षेप नहीं करना चाहिए।

चीन लंबे समय से यह दावा करता रहा है कि अगला दलाई लामा चुनने का अधिकार उसके पास है, लेकिन भारत ने हमेशा यह रुख अपनाया है कि धार्मिक मामलों में राजनीति को जगह नहीं मिलनी चाहिए। यह बयान ऐसे समय में आया है जब दलाई लामा लद्दाख में हैं और वहां पर प्रवचन दे रहे हैं।

रिजिजू ने यह भी कहा, "हम परमपावन दलाई लामा का सम्मान करते हैं और अनुयायियों की आस्था के साथ खड़े हैं। उनके उत्तराधिकारी का निर्णय उन्हीं पर छोड़ देना चाहिए।
